Employees in Nova were making a trip to the Phoenix Town from July 3rd to July 6th which was financially supported by the company. Every one of us had fun and made tons of beautiful pictures there in that fairyland.

'Feng Huang' is Chinese for 'Phoenix', the mythical bird of good omen and longevity that is consumed by fire to be re-born again from the flames. Feng Huang Cheng or Phoenix Town is so called as legend has it that two of these fabulous birds flew over it and found the town so beautiful that they hovered there, reluctant to leave.

The town is situated on the western boundary of Hunan Province in an area of outstanding natural beauty where mountains, water and blue skies prevail. Upon entering the town the visitor will be impressed by its air of mystery, elegance and primitive simplicity.

From this trip not only did us enjoy the natural beauty but also learned from the rafting in inflatable boat that how to best facilitate team work. This was also helpful and meaningful for us to improve our efficiency in the actual work.

Nova recently gained a long-term ODC contract from a Dutch IT company. The project is to develop a social networking site with Flash technology on .net platform.

Four months has passed from the first contact with the client to the signing of the contract. Being satisfied with our good performance on a pilot project, as well as with our customized PMS (Project Management System), the client then chose us out of two other rival companies as their partner.

Currently one-year contract has already been signed between the two parties. There are one-half PM, a SA, a SE, a PG2 and a tester involved in this project at the moment. The whole project is expected to be lasted for over two years, including the updating and maintenance services at its latter stage.

Nova has recently launched its corporate website. The site aims to serve Euramerican entities who are looking for software outsourcing service with .NET solutions. It demonstrates a clear picture of the history, competencies, service category etc. of Nova, who specialize in .NET technology for years. With its representations of expertise, the website is expected to be an excellent bridge between overseas clients and Nova.
